Background

Our company was established 25 years ago by Alain Lagacé, whose vision was to make Alarme Microcom the uncontested leader in property and personal security.

We proudly opened our first offices on Boulevard Hamel, in Quebec City. From the outset, growth was impressive: over 300 clients in less than one year, operating with a team of only 5 technicians at the time.

In November 1991, with a client base in excess of 900, we opened our own ULC certified central monitoring station. Our bilingual staff now offers direct service around the clock. And ULC certification, nationally recognized by insurers and police departments, gives all our clients an additional guarantee of quality!

Over the years, we acquired a number of security companies and have grown rapidly. We expanded our facilities April 1996.

Our ongoing objective is to extend our line of products and services and expand our territory province-wide. In 2003, we opened our Montreal office with the acquisition of Les Pros de l'Électronique.

We now count 50 competent employees dedicated to our clients' total peace of mind, in addition to our skilled technicians who expertly install our systems with unmatched professionalism.

Today, we set the standard throughout Québec when it comes to innovative technological solutions for residential, industrial, commercial and institutional security. No challenge is too big or too small. Our objectivity, recognized expertise and comprehensive vision mean that we can offer our clients a custom quote and the best quality-price-service ratio. Our many references in this area speak for themselves.

In 2007 we decided to move our Québec City head office into a much bigger building. This new facility now houses the central monitoring station, the administrative offices, the warehouse, the service centre and a state of the art multifunctional showroom that is open to the public Monday through Saturday.
